This is the perfect kayak for a small to medium sized paddler to improve their skills while still providing ease of entry and a high level of secondary stability.

Like all Melkers, the Rödlöga LV benefits from the innovative, natural and sustainable flax fibres from Swiss-based Bcomp. The stiffness and durability are comparable to a traditional epoxy and fiberglass kayak while producing a much smaller waste footprint, built with a cleaner, safer construction process.

The Rödlöga LV is ideal for a 100-190 pound paddler to dial in their performance (for larger paddlers, look at the HV version). It comes with both a skeg and a responsive, retractable rudder, giving you multiple options for staying on course in crosswinds or currents.
